I bought about 8 sets to help my 4th graders review the periodic table of aluminum, copper, nickel and zinc. We also set up a circuit to see which was lit the lightbulb the brighest.
The winner of course was copper. I will probably use them with 5th grade to test conductivity and metal sounds. The shipping was fast and the customer service representative called me to follow up. So g;ad I found out about home science tools.
The electrode set was exactly as described and shipped quickly. It was also less expensive than I could find on other sites. The electrodes were used for a 5th grade science project to test the thermal conductivity of different metals.
We used these in chemistry experiments involving votalic cells and to test with acids. Worked fantastic.
