The voltage sensor measures voltage across resistive, capacitive, and inductive loads as well as various power sources. It can also be used in conjunction with the current sensor (ME-NLCURR) to study the current-voltage relationship of various electric circuits.
The voltage sensor measures AC and DC voltages up to ± 20 V. Maximum sampling rate of 3000 S/sec, 0.01 V resolution, 1% accuracy. Experiment duration can range from 50 milliseconds to 31 days. Comes with 4mm banana jack plugs for easy connection to electric circuits. Alligator clips might be needed for measuring voltage in smaller electronic circuits. Ages 12+.
Note: This sensor requires either the ME-NLWIFI or ME-NLUSBMD to interface with your smart device or computer. It cannot be plugged directly into your computer.
NeuLog Sensor Modules Product Line
Take your experiments to the next level with sensor loggers! Most scientists use sensors and data loggers every day; bringing them into the classroom simulates real world experience. Using sensors in experiments replaces the lengthy process of recording data and creating graphs, giving students more time to analyze the collected data and create modifications to the experiments.
NeuLog offers an easy, economical, and precise method to conduct experiments and track data, in the lab or the field. And since one interface works with any of NeuLog’s sensor modules, it’s easy and inexpensive to expand your sensor collection.
NeuLog’s sensor modules come in durable, compact polymer housing. This makes data collection easier than ever to set up and manage, both in the lab and in the field.
To collect sensor readings, use either the USB Module ME-NLUSBMD or the WiFi Module ME-NLWIFI.
Sensors work with: PC, Mac, Tablet, Smart Phones. Multiple Connection Options: USB module, Wireless (WiFi).
