Study E. coli, the intestinal bacteria commonly used in labs, with this easy to use freeze dried culture. E. coli is a gram-negative, facultative, anaerobic bacteria. This safe strain of E. coli is commonly found in your intestine and is not the kind that causes food poisoning.
Comes in an easy to use self-contained rehydration and dispensing tube. Each tube contains two ampules, one containing freeze dried bacteria and one containing sterile rehydration broth. Simply pinch the tube to break the internal ampules and let the freeze dried organisms rehydrate, then dispense the rehydrated organisms into broth or onto agar through the dropper tip.
