DESCRIPTION

This deluxe Forces, Energy & Motion kit from K'Nex allows students to experience energy transfer, potential and kinetic energy, Newton's Laws, motions and forces, and much more in a memorable way. Students will even develop their own experiments using the materials provided. Students will be asked to collect their own data and investigate energy associated with position and condition by identifying the differences between types of energy. This would make an excellent unit study for a class and would appeal to any student interested in physics or engineering.

Designed for up to 16 students working in small groups of three or four. The set includes 4 spring motors and enough pieces to build up to four models simultaneously. Models include the rubber band roller, rubberband racer, spring motor turbo, and eight others. Also included is an 80-page Educator's Guide with 8 lesson plans that align with National Science Education Standards. Each lesson not only includes building instructions but also sets objectives for students and has a plan for class discussion of each key concept covered.
