This 250 ml separatory funnel is used in a variety of inorganic and organic chemistry processes. Separate two immiscible liquids of different densities, where the heaver liquid settles at the bottom of the funnel and can be easily drawn off. Separatory funnels can also be used to add a reagent in a distillation or a reaction process.
The 24/29 standard taper connections are designed for use with other ground-glass joint glassware.
