Science in the Age of Reason is the fourth book in a multi-level elementary science series that uses history as a guide to teach science concepts. To engage students K-6, the lessons are built around an activity and also contains three levels of review questions to allow you to adjust the curriculum for different ages and learning abilities.
This text is based on the scientific work of natural philosophers who lived from the early 1600s to the early 1800s. Topics covered include astronomy, medicine, botany, zoology, chemistry, geology, human physiology, electricity, conservation laws, and weather. The course includes around 90 hours of instruction.
