  • This spectroscope is very cool! You could hold it up to a white light or the sun and you can see a rainbow for it's emission spectrum. You can also point it at something like a neon light and it will give the emission spectrum. Over all very awesome!

      Spectroscope, Quantitative

      This very economical deluxe handheld quantitative spectroscope allows you to see a very clear, bright spectra form various light sources. The graduated scale on the inside of this quantitative spectroscope can also be used to measure the wavelengths of visible light spectra from 4000 to 7000 Angstroms with a precision of +/-50 Angstroms (+/-5nm). Instructions are included.

      We recommend the Chemiluminescent Kit with this spectroscope if you don't have easy access to different light sources. It provides immediate access to four chemiluminescent light sources with different spectra and wavelengths.

      Note: If you wear glasses and are farsighted, the scale on the inside of the spectroscope might appear blurry. Look through the spectroscope again without your glasses and you will see the scale clearly.
