The Story of HST
Debbie and I started Home Science Tools in 1995 because we wanted homeschool parents like us to be able to confidently provide their kids with a great science experience. We knew how hard it was to find everything for hands-on science while homeschooling and we wanted to change that experience for others! Our first “warehouse” was in our closet. Fast-forward to now and we have over 30 employees who develop hands-on science products and provide great customer service – as well as a 30,000 sq. ft. warehouse stocked with everything you need so your order can ship quickly (usually by the next business day)!
Helping homeschool families is still at the core of what we do and in 2021, we launched Science Unlocked, our own hands-on science curriculum, to fulfill that in an even greater way. But there is also abundant need for engaging hands-on science products everywhere! Our customers include classroom teachers, school district curriculum directors, at-home/distance learning programs, after-school programs, college professors and students, parents, and grandparents.
