Polyurethane Foam Kit

This Polyurethane Foam Kit makes a fast expanding polymer that is sure to engage students. Use this as a class demonstration or have students make their own, enough for 15 students or student groups. Polyurethane foam is made by mixing two viscous liquids. The resulting polymerization reaction produces a lightweight polyurethane foam which expands to 30 times the original volume of the two liquids.

Safety gear, specifically gloves, goggles, and apron, are recommended.
