Wire, enamel magnet, #28, 4 oz

This enamel coated solid copper wire is also called magnet wire. It is commonly used for making coils for electromagnets and electric motors. You get a 4-ounce roll of 28 gauge wire that is about 400 feet long. The diameter of 28 gauge copper core is quite small: 0.0126" or 0.321 mm.
