Returns Made Simple 

If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 60 days of the purchase date for a refund. 

Refund Details 
  • You will receive a full refund of the product price once your return is received and inspected. 
  • Items must be returned in new, unused condition with original packaging (if applicable). 
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable. 
  • A restocking fee of up to 20% may apply to returns with missing packaging, manuals, or components, or items in used condition. 
Microscope & Telescope Returns 

To return a microscope or telescope, please contact our Customer Care team at [email protected] before sending the item back. 

 Due to the nature of products and the variety of models we offer—including those shipped directly from our suppliers—return procedures may vary. Our team will provide specific instructions to ensure your return is processed properly. 

Starting a Return

  2. Ship the product back to us using your preferred carrier.  
    • Please ensure fragile items have packing material.  
    • Provide proof of purchase (order number, receipt, or email confirmation) in your return shipment. 

 Note: Home Science Tools does not provide return shipping labels. Customers are responsible for return shipping fees unless the return is due to our error or a defective product. 

Exclusions 

 The following items cannot be returned: 

  • Live items (SKU begins with LD
  • Drop-shipped items (such as agar plates & live specimens) 
  • Restricted or drop-shipped chemicals (SKU begins with UN
  • Final sale or special-order items 
  • Products showing excessive wear, use, or damage due to misuse 
Damaged or Defective Items 
  • If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within seven days of delivery
  • We will promptly arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you. 
  • Please keep the original packaging for inspection or return shipping if requested. 
Exchanges 

At this time, we do not offer product exchanges. If you need a different item, please place a new order after your return has been processed and refunded.
