See laws of physics in motion with this fascinating Newton's Cradle! These balance balls demonstrate conservation of momentum and energy -- and they're also fun to watch. Read
More
This popular device, often referred to as Newton's Cradle, is used to study conservation of momentum and energy. Lift and drop a ball on one end and the ball on the other end responds with an opposite motion. Drop two of the balance balls on one end and two balls respond on the other end. What better way to show students that "For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction"?
This Newton's Cradle features 20 mm diameter chrome-plated steel balance balls suspended on nylon string from a steel frame mounted to a durable wood base. Operating instructions and theory are included. The overall size is 12 cm (4.8") L x 11 cm (4.3") W x 15 cm (6") H.
