You'll be able to measure temperature at a range from -20 to 110°C and 0 to 230°F. Readability is 1°C or 2°F. This partial immersion thermometer is designed to provide the most accurate reading when the stem is immersed 76 mm (3") in liquid. It includes an anti-roll band and protective plastic storage tube. Red alcohol filled glass tube. Approximately 6mm in diameter.

This thermometer fits in the holes of rubber stoppers. You might need to use a little cooking oil or Vaseline to lubricate the lab thermometers before they will fit. It is also a good idea to wrap the thermometer in a soft cloth to avoid breakage so you can safely conduct your science experiments. Our thermometers are mercury free!
