How It Works
Explore:
Choose a science question, experiment, or topic that sparks curiosity.

Test ideas, make observations, and learn something new.

Create a short video explaining the question, process, and results.

Submit:
Upload the video by the submission deadline to officially enter.

Who can enter: K–12 students (homeschoolers and classroom learners welcome)

Format: Virtual video submission
Video length: 1–5 minutes

Projects are reviewed by educators, scientists, and STEM professionals who value curiosity, effort, and clear thinking. Judges look at how students explore ideas—not whether results were “perfect.”

Science Buddies inspires and educates students of all ages with hands-on STEM explorations tailored to their unique interests. Our team is dedicated to fostering discovery, engagement, and learning, supported by volunteer judges with diverse STEM expertise.
