    Empowering Parents Grant FAQ's

    Once you have found science kits, curriculum and supplies for your student, go to the Odyssey portal to submit your request. If you need any help with this, reach out to our customer service at by calling 406-256-0990 or clicking here.  

    All Idaho students from Kindergarten though grade 12 are eligible regardless of whether they attend a public school, private school or are homeschooled.

    1. Go into ClassWallet 
    2. Select Home Science Tools from the marketplace of stores.
    3. Click special link to head to our site.
    4. Shop on our site and put items in cart.
    5. When finished, hit button on cart page to go back to Classwallet.
    6. The cart will be in Classwallet, ready for approval.
    7. Once your order is approved, we'll send you your items. 

    Eligible families can purchase any products from Home Science Tools including the following: 

    Approved families currently have access to $1000 per eligible student, with a maximum award of $3,000 per family.

    The Empowering Parents Grant provides eligible families with grant funds for use towards eligible educational services and devices to help students recover from the learning loss caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

    COVID-19 disrupted student learning in Idaho. As parents and guardians try to help their students recover from this learning loss, students need access to additional support to meet their individual learning needs. The Empowering Parents Grant allows families to purchase the science resources needed to help their children succeed.
