DESCRIPTION

This is the multimedia companion to Apologia's Exploring Creation with General Science. It contains all of the add-ons that can be found on the General Science CD-ROM course, but does not include the text of the course. This is the perfect supplement for those who are using a print textbook but also want the extras that can be found on the CD-ROM. 2nd edition.

Examples of multimedia content on this CD:

  • Animation: The Ptolemaic System - the Earth is at the center of a moving diagram which shows the other planets and the sun revolving clockwise around it.
  • Pronunciation: Galileo Galilei - 1-second clip of a voice saying "Gal-i-lay-oh Gal-i-lay."
  • Movie: The Grand Canyon - short film with aerial views of the Grand Canyon and a narration describing its dimensions and the way it was formed.

Note: Requires a PC computer with sound card, speakers, and a printer, running Windows 95/NT or higher. Requires Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher (provided on the CD). We recommend at least a Pentium 100 processor with 16Mb of RAM.
