  • I received these flasks with the 1000 mL shattered in its paper packaging. No worries, though, because HST was happy to send a replacement flask and it arrived in about a week! Overall, these flasks have widthstanded the torture i have put them through so far, so they are the perfect set of glassware for me!

  • These flasks are made in China and cheaper than Pyrex glassware, they worked perfectly for me as a starter kit along with the set of beakers. The thick walls impressed me during my experiments as they were more than able to keep up with thermal stress and shock. However, it is also a good idea to get one or two pyrex beakers and flasks, because those are the vessels that I use if I know that there is a danger of the glassware breaking.

      This value-priced pack contains five of our Home Science Tools Erlenmeyer flasks, ranging from 50 ml to 1000 ml. Each one in this set is made of high-quality GG17 borosilicate glass that can be heated directly in an open flame. Low coefficient of thermal expansion means the glassware will withstand typical laboratory thermal variations common to chemistry processes like heating and cooling. Use for mixing and heating. The included graduations (lines) are approximate and not intended for accurate liquid measurement.
