  • We always order all our science supplies here. This kit came with everything we needed to complete the entire book. One of the specimens leaked and they replaced it immediately. The replacement was at our door 3 days later.

Dissection Kit for Apologia Marine Biology

Get a deeper understanding of how marine animals work! This kit contains the materials for the dissection and non-microscope labs in Exploring Creation with Marine Biology: a clam, shark, starfish, and coral specimens, plus a glow stick and sponge. The kit includes all specimens packaged together in one bag, with the exception of the dogfish. Our kit order form lists optional items to go with this kit.

You can order this kit now even if you will be doing the dissections later in the year. If you don't have them already from first-year biology, we recommend ordering dissection tools and a tray. (The shark tray is optional.)

If you're not using this kit with Apologia's Exploring Creation with Marine Biology curriculum, you'll need to order the shark, clam, and starfish dissection guides, which are part of the curriculum, separately. HST does not offer dissection guides for coral or sponges.

Shipping Note: This item contains preserved specimens and only ships to a street address in the 50 US states.
