High Vacuum Grease, 150 g

MOLYKOTE High Vacuum Grease (formerly Dow Corning® High Vacuum Grease or Down Corning® High Vacuum Grease 976V) is used as a sealant and lubricant in a variety of general laboratory applications. Some of these applications are as an anti-seize sealant in ground glass joints, a lubricant for stopcocks and valves, a lubricant for gaskets and O-rings, and a sealant in vacuum and pressure systems. This high vacuum grease is suitable for high temperature applications up to 400° F. In particular, we recommend it as a joint sealant with our ground glass joint glassware products. You get a tube of 150 g (5.3 ounces).

MOLYKOTE High Vacuum Grease is a stiff, non-melting silicone lubricating material that is stable over a temperature range from -40°F to 400°F (-40°C to 200°C). It is chemically resistant to mineral oils, many common gases, dilute acids and alkalis, and aqueous solutions of inorganic salts. 

The merger and then splitting of the DowDupont companies now have this grease under the DuPont MOLYKOTE line of greases. The name has changed but not the formulation.
